Today the Australian Government announced the ‘3 Step Framework for a Covidsafe Australia plan’ with an end now in sight for travel restrictions.

But until the restrictions are fully lifted, we’ve come up with some great virtual ideas for you to enjoy a ’Sunshine Coast holiday’ experience from the comfort of your lounge room.

Beaches of the Sunshine Coast

Visit Noosa has a wonderful collection of ‘Virtual Visits’ that will have you feeling more relaxed in seconds! Sit back and enjoy the sights of our beautiful beaches, Noosa National Park, Tewantin National Park, Noosa Everglades and more.

You can also get your daily dose of ‘Vitamin Sea’ with the Coastal Watch Live Noosa Surf Cam and Surf Report!

You’ll also be able to view the surf cams for many of the Sunshine Coast’s other beautiful beaches including Rainbow Beach, Sunshine Beach, Peregian, Marcoola and more.

Sunshine Coast Attractions

Take yourself on a virtual 38 tours of Queensland Air Museum QAM Caloundra! Navigate your way around the museum exhibits checking out the many aircrafts and other fun features.

Head over to the Sea Life Sunshine Coast Aquarium Mooloolaba Facebook page for educational videos and live streams. You can catch education talks with knowledgeable aquarium staff, a live seal enrichment segment, and theirs also a Yoga under the Sea session!

The Ginger Factory Yandina Facebook page has been featuring some great Factory Tours and for those that have been making the most of their ‘iso’ time with some baking; you can download the recipe of their famous Ginger Scones.

While we’re on the topic of food … The Spirit House Yandina (which is a must when restrictions are lifted!) has shared the secret recipes to some of their famous Thai dishes. Learn how to make some of their menu items such as their Whole Crispy Fish or Tamarind Glazed Chicken.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Rimini Holiday Apartments when travel is permitted. Until then, stay safe and keep dreaming of your next Sunshine Coast holiday.
