Located within Noosa Heads National Park, Hells Gates, is a popular is a popular destination for hikes and photo opportunities.

From the park entrance the walk is approximately 5.2km roundtrip, it’s recommended to allow approximately 2 to 3 hours to complete the walk.

Be sure to watch out for spectacular bird life including Osprey, Sea Eagles and Pied Cormorants. In the ocean you may be able to spot turtles, and during the whale season be sure to look out for the migrating Humpback Whales. If you’re fortunate you might even see them in close to the cliff base between Fairy Ponds and the Hells Gate lookout.

Note: Hells Gate is unfenced please take due care and read the Government warning signs and the cliffs are very steep and fragile.
